  John Trenoweth married Jane Treiago. He was the son of Ralph Trenoweth and Elizabeth Bushell.
  
  The Boscawen pedigree from the Visitation of Cornwall 1620, includes the marriage of Jane, the daughter of Stephen Treiago, and John Trenowith. John was the son of Trenowith and Bushell, who was the son of Trenoweth and Butller. John and Jane (Treiago) Trenoweth had a son Ralphe Trenoweth who married Jane, the daughter of William Basset.
  
  The biography of Ralph Trenewith in The History of Parliament states that Ralph first married Elizabeth, the daughter of Richard Bushell, and they had three sons. Then he married Joan Bodrugan, the daughter of Otto Bodrugan, the widow of John Trevanion, and they had three sons and a daughter, including William Bodruan (d.1416).
