=== Verdon ===
Some have erroneously added this Margaret de Brewes as being married to Thomas Verdon of Brissingham, co. Norfolk. This is not correct. Thomas Verdon was married to Margaret dau of Bewes de Knovill, first lord of Knovill. Thomas's father John de Verdon was marrried to Eleanor Furnival who after his death married to Richard de Brewes of Stradbroke.
