  I am more inclined to believe that Henry was son of Hugh (s on of Richard), rather than Richard. Given the death dates , it takes several "nearly hundred year old men" and late b irths to stretch this particular Clifford line back to Rich ard. In addition there was only probably one Clifford wh o owned Frampton at a time. Henry could have been a younge r son of Hugh, who inherited Frampton when his elder brothe r John died without male issue.
