Walter de Paveley of Westbury was sheriff of Wiltshire 1297-9.[3]
A writ was issued regarding Walter de Pavely on 1 October 17 Edward II, after which an Inquisition was taken in Wiltshire, England, which found that Walter held properties in Avene, the manors of Westbury, Broke and Henedynghulle, and the hundred of Westury with a toll of the market of Westbury and of a fair there, all in Wiltshire, and his son, Reginald, was his next heir.[2]
