William Inge (b. c1267 in Redbourn, Hertfordshire, England, died 1321 in Redbourn, Hertfordshire, England) purchased from John de Lenham his portion of the property of Weston Manor in 1297 and also aquired the portion of Eleanorde Kinell in 1299. William Inge obtained a grant for a weekly market and Annual fair in 1303. In 1308 he obtained the third part (of Weston Manor) from Juliana de Weylondon. Weston part of the Manor of Hitchin was called Weston in the 11th Century, Weston Tregoz early in the 14th Century and Weston Inge later in the 14th Century (Westoning now). In 1321 William also held 5 messages - 200 acres of land - 4 acres of meadow - sixty acres of wood and 40 shillings annualrent in Rebourn. William was Chief Justice of the King's Bench in the reign of Edward II.

Kyngesworthy. The manor, held for life in joint feoffment with William Inge, her late husband, with reversion to his heirs, of the king in chief by service of a pair of gilt spurs or 6d.
She died on 3 April last [1370]. William la Zouche, lord of Haryngeworth, aged 30 years and more, son and heir of Joan la Zouche, daughter and heir of the said William Inge, is her heir.

BEDFORD. Inq. taken at Dunstaple, 18 April, 44 Edward III.
Weston. The manor (extent given). Master Robert Inge gave the manor with the king’s licence to William Inge, Isolda his wife, and Fremund Inge, and the heirs to be begotten between William and Isolda, with remainder to the right heirs of William. William died without issue by Isolda, and Fremund died in her lifetime. She held the manor on the day of her death of the king in chief by the grand serjeanty of appearing before the justices in eyre in the county to do the services due before them.
She died on Tuesday after the Annunciation last. William la Zouche, lord of Haryngworth, aged 40 years and more, is next heir of the said William, to wit, son of Joan his daughter.
