Note: On the death of John Peche, his widow, Katherine, married Kinardo de la Bere in the reign of Richard II...after his death his widow held the manor...Before her second marriage Katherine had two children, Joan and Margaret, who at the time of their father's death, Sir John Peche were 2 3/4 and one day respectively. On the death of their mother, the manor passed to Margaret, who in Henry IV's time, married Sir William de Montfort, of Coleshill, and whose son Baldwin de Montfort, became possessed of the manor. He had married Joanna, sister of Sir John Verney, and died in 1475.
