  Peter de Eyton (IV), who in October 1302, March 1303, January 1305, and March and May 1308, occurs as a prominent withness of Wombridge Charters, is in no instance styled a knight. Peter de Eyton had a brother John de Eyton, who was the father of Joan, the wife of Adam de Peshall, and through her the Manor of Hinley came to the Peshalls. 20 Edward I. Knights Fees. Dudley Barony 1292. John de Etone held of Roger de Semery on the day of his death the manor of Hinley by the service of one knight's fee and it is worth yearly 10 pounds (Staff. Hist.   How can anyone know who is really attached to who, & which century they lived in if there are no dates. Even a wild guess is better than, between 1000 AD & 1800 AD. A calculation back from a child may be out if it is not the only child, but at least we are working in the same century, & if 3 older children are found take 5 years off till a more accurate date can be found.
