  There is conflicing information as to her parentage. One source states that it is Malcolm, earl of Fife. The other states that it is Duncan, earl of Fife. The brothers - Malcolm and Duncan who were both earls, fit the correct generation. According to several sources, Malcolm had two wives - Maud of Strathearn [Complete Peerage] and Margaret de Toeni [European Stammtafeln], whereas, Duncan's wife was Alice Corbet. The name Margaret appears documented as the name of the daughter. It seems likely that the information calling her daughter of Malcolm would therefore be the more correct source.
