  === MARGARET, suo jure COUNTESS OF LENNOX ===
  MARGARET, suo jure COUNTESS OF LENNOX, daughter and heir. She married, about 1344, Walter of FASSELANF, the male representative of that family. He was present at the Coronation of Robert II 26 March 1371, many swore allegiance to him next day in a Parfiament at Scone. His seal is appended to the Act of Settlement of the Crown of Scotland, 4 April 1373, by which the Earl of Carrick (afterwards Robert III) was declared eldest lawful son and heir of Robert II. In 1385 he and his wife resigned the earldom in favor of their eldest son Duncan; they were both living 19 August 1388, when they had from Robert II a confirmation of the life-rent of the earldom, reserved upon the resignation of 1385.
