Biography
Nothing is known of Beatrice's origins. She was the widow of John de Bassingham when King Henry III invited her to marry Mathias Bezill. She declined and married Robert of Lowick. He died fairly soon after and she was shortly thereafter married to Mathias.
Mathias and Beatrice had at least three children, two sons and a daughter.
Beatrice's name last appears in a a record in 1264.
