Biography
Reginald, often written de Baconsthorp, succeeded his father Robert some time between 1227 and 1261. He gave to the church or priory of St. Mary at Binham, a rent of 8d. per annnum issuing out of his lands in Letheringsete, and a moiety of that advowson in 1261. Richard Bacon of Lodne was his son and heir.
He married Lady de Meschines, sister of Ranulph, Earl of Chester & Lincoln.
