The Red Book of the Exchequer records "Petrus filius Herberti et Willelmus de Boterellis" holding "tres partes" in Warwickshire in [1210/12]. "William de Botreaux" paid a fine for "having seisin of the lands formerly of William de Botreaux his father" in Cornwall, dated [Dec] 1220.
