=== Life Sketch ===
The earliest record of the le Fowler name in England is that of Richard le Fowler of Foxley, Buckinghamshire, who accompanied King Richard I of England, a.k.a. Richard The Lion Heart, to the Holy lands on the 3rd Crusade in 1190, where he (le Fowler) served as commanding officer of bowmen who were tenants of his manor and maintained at his own expense. He personally saved the camp from a nocturnal surprise attack, and for his outstanding vigilance in deterring the attack, he received the honor of knighthood in the field from his King, and The Lion Heart caused Sir Richard le Fowler de Foxley’s crest to be changed to a vigilant owl and granted him lands at Abbey-Cwmhir, Radnorshire, Wales.
A Sir Richard le Fowler came to England with William the Conqueror in 1066. There has been noted a line of descent from this Norman knight down to this Sir Richard Fowler, however, there is scant evidence of this lineage.

There is a major flaw in the Fowler connection the family tree of the Fullers (Suffolk) claim lineage back to:
Henry "the Wrangler" Fowler
He was born in the year 1090 in Foxley, Buckinghamshire, England.
He died in the year 1150 in Foxley, Buckinghamshire, England, he was 60 years old.
This is untrue he was born here:
Henry II (951 – 28 August 995), called the Wrangler or the Quarrelsome he was of German ancentry.
I have complied the complete family tree of this family and they never came to Norfolk period.
He was childless and had no issues or children. He never married
Sir Richard Fowler The 1st 1130-1190 there is no evidence he is the son of Henry the Wrangler.
Please research your facts before adding past generations here.
