The Fundationis et Fundatorum Historia of Forde Abbey names “Ricardum, Henricum et Willielmum” as the three sons of ”comes Baldwinus”[460]. "Adeliz de Redveris" donated property to the abbey of Loders, Dorset, for the souls of "patris mei…Willelmi Pevrel de Notingeham…et matris mee Adeline", with the consent of "…nepotum meorum Ricardi de Reveris, Henrici atque Willelmi", by undated charter[461].
“Baldewinus comes Devoniæ” donated property to Exeter St James, with the consent of “Ricardo filio meo”, by undated charter witnessed by “…duobus filiis meis Willielmo et Henrico”[462]. "Ricardus de Redveriis filius Baldewini comitis Exonie" donated property to the abbey of Loders, Dorset founded by "Ricardus de Redveris avus meus", by undated charter[463].
Robert of Torigny names "Ricardus filius eius" as successor in 1155 of "Balduinus de Redviers"[464]. He succeeded his father in 1155 as Earl of Devon, Lord of the Isle of Wight. The 1156 Pipe Roll records "Ric de Reduiers" in Devonshire[465]. “Ricardus comes Devoniæ” donated property to Exeter St James, for the soul of “uxoris meæ Dionisiæ, meorumque parentum defunctorum…patris mei Baldwini comitis et matris meæ Adel”, by charter dated 1157[466].
“Richardus comes Exoniæ, comitis Baldwini filius” founded Quarr Abbey by undated charter which recites a donation by “Hadewisæ sororis meæ”[467].
The Red Book of the Exchequer refers to "Ricardus de Riveres dimidiam marcam" in Warwickshire, Leicestershire in [1161/62][468]. Robert of Torigny records the death in 1162 of "Richardus de Revers dominus insula Vectæ in Anglia"[469].
The necrology of Mont-Bourg records the death "27 Apr" of "Ricardus secundus comes de Reveriis"[470]. Betrothed to EMMA de Pont de l'Arche, daughter of WILLIAM de Pont de l'Arche & his wife Constance Mauduit (-young). Her betrothal is noted in Domesday Descendants[471].
m ([1150]) DENISE of Cornwall, daughter and co-heiress of REYNOLD FitzRoy Earl of Cornwall & his wife Beatrice FitzWilliam (-after Apr 1162, bur Christ Church, Twynham). Robert of Torigny records the wife of "Richardus de Revers dominus insula Vectæ in Anglia" as "filia Rainaldi comitis Cornubiæ" but does not name her[472]. “Ricardus comes Devoniæ” donated property to Exeter St James, for the soul of “uxoris meæ Dionisiæ…”, by charter dated 1157[473]. Earl Baldwin & his wife had two children:
a) BALDWIN (-10 or 28 May 1188).

Richard de Redvers, 2nd Earl of Devon (died 1162) was Earl of Devon from 1155 until his death.
He married Denise, one of the daughters and coheiresses of Reginald, Earl of Cornwall. He was High Sheriff of Devon from 1154–1157. He was the son of Baldwin de Redvers, 1st Earl of Devon and nephew of William de Reviers, 5th Earl of Devon.
He was succeeded by his son Baldwin de Redvers, 3rd Earl of Devon (died 1188).
