Joan Beauchamp was previously married to Robert Ferrres.
He died at the time of Lady Joan becoming legitimate.

She was now able to marry a title and she married Ralph Neville 4th Baron, he already had seven children from his first marriage.
Together they had another 14 children.
Ralph disinherits his first seven children and inherits his children with Lady Joan only.
