Sir Thomas Dominus Boyd of Kilmarnock, 3rd Feudal Baron and 3rd Lord of Kilmarnock (erroneously styled by W P Boyd as the First Lord Boyd had a remission for the killing of one Nielson, of Dalrymple, in a feud in 1409, from Duke Robert of Albany, who had seized the reins of government from King Robert III.
He married Alice Gifford (born 1345, a second daughter of Sir Hugh Gifford, of Yester),[1] and by this union acquired a large fortune.[2] by CharlesMoore60

Sir Thomas Boyd II was described in contemporary documents as 'Dominusde Kilmarnock'. He was married to the daughter of Sir John Gifford ofYester. He was pardoned in 1409 for slaying Neilson of Dalrymple,when he must have been a good age. Apart from this, he seems to haveleft no record. He was succeed by his son, the third Sir Thomas.
