  SIr Nicholas FitzMartin (also known as Martin) was the son of William Fitz Martin and Avice de Toriton. He was born c. 1212, in Blagdon, Somerset, England, and died c. 1282. He married an unknown woman c. 1232, and then Isabel FitzWilliam, widow of Hugh Peverel, in either 1259 or 1260. He also lived in Kemes, Pembrokeshire Wales.
  
  He and his wife Isabell are mentioned in a series of charters dated 1270.[1]
  
  He had six sons, Nicholas, Robert (both by his first unknown wife), John (fl 1268, so probably first wife), and William (fl 1326, mother unclear) , David (Bishop of St David, died 1327), and Warin (died 1328), and a daughter Avice (Carew) (all three by his second wife, Isabel).
